Based in Bohumin, Czech Republic, Bochmie, a.s. is a leading Central European consumer goods and specialty chemicals manufacturer. Bochemie develops products for household use under the SAVO brand, a leader in bathroom & kitchen cleaning agents with sales in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and other central European countries.
Additional products include disinfectants for use in hospitals and other healthcare facilities, agricultural biocides, wood protection and chemicals for metal surface treatment. Since acquiring the company in 2007, BOC and Bochemie have acquired EVM Zrt., a Budapest-based producer of household cleaners and cosmetics. Bochemie operates throughout central and eastern Europe with subsidiaries in Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania and Russia.
